Leisure World, fun for all the family!

Welcome to the East Coasts most exciting indoor swimming facility. Here at Leisure World we invite you to spend a day with us that all your family will enjoy. No matter what takes your fancy we are sure you will want to come back again. Will you brave the surf in our wave pool or dare to ride our speedy slides? Maybe its taking your younger children swimming in our teaching pool or swimming some lengths for fitness or pleasure. Whatever you want from a wet and wild day out Leisure World can provide. All lifeguards are qualified to the Royal Life Saving Society National Pool Lifeguard standard to ensure your day is as safe as you would expect.

Can You complete the Inflatable Assault Course!

Can you complete the Inflatable Assault Course? Once a month on a Friday evening from 5.30pm to 6.30pm the pool inflatable will be in the water (contact the centre for further details). This session is combined with the waves and slides, which will continue until 8pm after the inflatable is out of the water. The session is for over 8's only. A further session is held once a month on a Sunday morning, which is aimed at families with younger children wanting to enjoy the inflatable and the inflatable can be booked for parties. please contact the centre for further details.

Swimming Lessons

At Leisure World we provide a comprehensive swim school. Our qualified and experienced instructors are experienced at delivering the right level to suit swimmers starting from as young as 3 years old.

We pride ourselves on delivering excellent tuition. That is why at Leisure World you will find only trained teachers and coaches. By ensuring all teaching staff are qualified to these high standards we can ensure consistency in the curriculum we deliver.

This introduces children from 3-4 years olds to a structured learning environment. Swimming Teachers will work at developing confidence, communication and a sense of water safety to the group whilst maintaining a fun and stimulating lesson.

Children who start their learning in Pre School show beneficial water skills and confidence in later grades. This is one if the most crucial stages in a childs swimming development.

Our class structure is designed for each grade to be a natural progression from the previous grade. This allows your child to continually learn and progress as strokes are developed and fitness and confidence gained.

From starting out in the early grades you can watch your child develop and progress in to capable confident swimmers.

The qualified Swimming Teachers constantly monitor and evaluate each childs progress and understand that not all children develop at the same rate. It is sometimes necessary for a child to repeat a grade several times before moving to the next grade. The price is £39.00 for ten half hour lessons. Contact reception for start dates.

Many of our Swimming Teachers will provide first class private tuition. From individuals to small groups the Swimming Teacher can assess and progress your range of skills. Private tuition is available to all age groups. The price is £17.80 per half hour, times to be arranged with the Swimming Teacher.

It's never too late to start learning to swim. That's why we provide our ever-popular Adult Lessons. Many people who attend had a great fear of water at the beginning, but with your determination and our tuition you will soon be swimming and gaining confidence with every lesson that passes. Adult Tuition costs £46.00 for ten half hour lessons.
