G P Exercise Referral

The Exercise Referral Scheme is an introduction to physical activity scheme, which enables GP's and other health professionals to recommend a course of clients who would benefit from taking regular exercise. It entitles you to join a 20-session activity programme at Bridlington Sports Hall. Throughout which you will have the help and guidance of a specially qualified exercise professional.

How Do I Join

If you require further information about the Exercise Referral Scheme, ask your GP, practice nurse or health professional. If you are referred onto the scheme, you will be contacted by the exercise referral instructor to arrange your first session. Heartlink Cardiac Rehabilitation

Heartlink

The Heart Rehabilitation programme is a similar scheme to exercise referral that focus's on cardiac diseases and secondary prevention. It consists of 20 sessions, involving gym and class based exercise and healthly lifestyle topics. The programme is run at Leisure World on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 1100. Weight Management

Weight management focuses on healthy lifestyle and dietary advice, weigh and measure and a gentle exercise programme. It is run on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1000, classes are held at Bridlington Sports Hall. For further information contact Martin Petch on 01262 606715 or Lynn Church on 01262 678077.
