Leisure World Tone Zone?

Bridlington Leisure World's Tone Zone fitness suite is a modern, state of the art gymnasium that boasts the very latest exercise equipment. Here you can enjoy a fantastic aerobic workout while watching your favourite programmes on the personal entertainment centres, or, looking out on the spectacular views over Bridlington Bay, historical harbour and Flamborough Head. The Tone Zone also has a fully equipped resistance area featuring easy to use static machines, two free weight areas and multiple pulley machines. Our trained staff will make sure that you're fully equipped to train with a personalised programme and health check service. Admissions Policy

Customers must be 16 or older and have completed a gym induction before they can use the Tone Zone unsupervised.

Juniors (14 - 16 year olds) can use the tone zone during junior sessions (1500-1700 Mon-Fri, Weekends) or at other times when accompanied by an adult.

All Tone Zone customers are issued with a swipe card after completing their induction. This card must be presented at reception to gain admission and admission is at the discretion of the centre management if a card can not be produced.

As well as the fitness suite we offer an extensive range of exercise classes. Whether your goals are shape and tone, fitness and health or posture and flexibility, we offer classes for all ages and abilities.

NEW 2010 Class Programme

The New and Improved 2010 exercise class programme launched on Monday 3rd May. The timetable features exciting new classes such as BodyCombat, BodyJam and BodyBalance all from the Les Mills Fitness System. Classes are grouped together so you can 'Pick & Mix' to ensure you get that full body workout.

Mind & Body Classes

Body Balance

Body Balance is the Yoga, Tai Chi & Pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centred and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body in to a state of harmony and balance.

Mondays - 9.15am, Tuesdays 8.15pm & Wednesdays 1.15pm.

Body Jam

Body Jam is the cardio workout where you are free to enjoy the sesation of dance. An addictive fusion of the latest dance moves and hottest new sounds puts the emphasis as much on having fun as breaking a sweat. Funky instructors teach you to move with attitude through this 55 minute class.

Body Combat is the empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. this fiercely energetic programme is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as Karate, Boxing, Taekwondo, Tai Chi and Muay Tai. Supported by driving music and powerful role model instructors strike, punch, kick and kata your way through calories to superior cardio fitness.

Cycling Classes

Group Cycling (Spin Class)

A 45 minute workout with uphill climbs then downhill glides.

Water based classes

Aqua Fit

Ultimate low impact workout and total body toning. A refreshing form of exercise only water can provide. It is also an excellent first class to try if you are new to exercise. Classes eld in the wave pool.

DEEP Water Aqua Fit

An aqua based class for fitness & toning. Deeper water increases core strength and muscular demands.
